KERNO Enterprises becomes the first manufacturer of enterprise IT hardware in the UAE, with an annual production capacity exceeding 60,000 technology products at Dubai Silicon Oasis.
UAE's first enterprise IT hardware manufacturer
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), witnessed the inauguration of KERNO Enterprises' headquarters and first manufacturing facility at Dubai Silicon Oasis. KERNO Enterprises is the first manufacturer of enterprise IT hardware in the UAE.
The facility strengthens Dubai's standing as a regional hub for advanced technology and knowledge-based manufacturing. KERNO designs, develops, and produces secure technology solutions locally — in direct alignment with national priorities to enhance technological sovereignty, localise advanced industries, and build resilient digital infrastructure for AI and the wider digital economy.
Advanced production lines and high-tech product portfolio
During the visit, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed toured the facility's advanced production lines, including assembly operations, testing procedures, and quality assurance systems. He was briefed on KERNO's portfolio spanning AI servers, high-performance computing systems, enterprise servers, and data storage technologies.
The facility boasts an annual production capacity exceeding 60,000 technology products, including high-performance AI servers, enterprise and edge computing servers, x86 multi-purpose platforms developed and manufactured in the UAE, and enterprise-grade storage systems designed for mission-critical applications.
Supporting Dubai's D33 agenda and knowledge economy
The inauguration reflects the strategic importance of investment in knowledge, innovation and technology-driven sectors. Sheikh Ahmed noted that advanced manufacturing remains a cornerstone in building the economy of the future, enhancing digital readiness, and advancing economic diversification in line with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.
Dubai Silicon Oasis, one of three economic zones under DIEZ alongside DAFZ and Dubai CommerCity, offers an integrated ecosystem for technology companies, entrepreneurs, and innovators — underpinned by advanced infrastructure and a business environment conducive to knowledge-led growth.
